Amanda Spratt grew up in Colorado and moved to the Kansas City metro in 2015. She has her Master’s in Public Health and currently works in employee wellness programming. She has always had an affinity for animals and gave her first rescue dog, Mac, his forever home in 2012. Her love for farm animals became a passion while in graduate school when she learned about the impact the current food system has on our lives, the environment, and the lives of the animals. She toured a dairy farm where she met her first cow, and her life was forever changed. Since then, Amanda has done what she can to promote animal welfare and engage with farm communities. She brings a strong interest in food processes and a genuine love for farm animals.
